IMPORTANT:
|
Before you begin
-
Have your Flowroute SIP Credentials. These can be found on the Interconnection > Status & Setup page on your Flowroute account.
To configure sipXecs:
- Log on to your sipXecs system.
- In the navigation pane, click Configuration.
- Enter your Name and Address as shown:
-
IMPORTANT: The Address field must use the SIP Registrar / Proxy from your Flowroute SIP credentials, sip.flowroute.com.
If you are taking advantage of our new Points of Presence (PoPs), SIP Proxy will follow this new format: [preferred PoP].sip.flowroute.com where [preferred PoP] might be us-west-wa as an example. See Interconnection with the New PoPs for technical specifications.
- Click Apply.
- In the navigation pane, click Caller ID.
- Click Apply.
- In the Default Caller ID field, enter the automatic number identification (ANI) you want to pass.
-
NOTE: Although Flowroute does not restrict the Caller ID your system sends, ensure that your system sends a caller ID which abides by your local, state and federal laws.
- In the navigation pane, click Dial Plan.
- In the Prefix field, add the dialing format you need.
-
NOTE: Keep in mind that Flowroute uses the E.164 format for dialing. For additional information regarding the E.164 format, see What dialing format should I use when sending calls?
- Click Apply.
- In the navigation pane, click ITSP Account, and enter your Flowroute SIP Credentials.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
