Configure sipXecs

This article describes configuring sipXecs to work with your Flowroute telephone numbers. 

Before you begin
To configure sipXecs:
  1. Log on to your sipXecs system.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Configuration.
  3. Enter your Name and Address as shown:


    IMPORTANT: The Address field must use the SIP Registrar / Proxy from your Flowroute SIP credentials, [Preferred PoP]

  4. Click Apply.
  5. In the navigation pane, click Caller ID.02_Gateway-CallerID.png 

  6. Click Apply.
  7. In the Default Caller ID field, enter the automatic number identification (ANI) you want to pass. 

    NOTE: Although Flowroute does not restrict the Caller ID your system sends, ensure that your system sends a caller ID which abides by your local, state and federal laws. 

  8. In the navigation pane, click Dial Plan. 03_Gateway-DialPlan.png
  9. In the Prefix field, add the dialing format you need. 

    NOTE: Keep in mind that Flowroute uses the E.164 format for dialing. For additional information regarding the E.164 format, see What dialing format should I use when sending calls? 

  10. Click Apply.
  11. In the navigation pane, click ITSP Account, and enter your Flowroute SIP Credentials. 

  12. Click Apply, and then click OK.
